We are delighted to announce that our former skipper, Mark McChrystal, has agreed to be our guest this Sunday when we take on Millwall in our final game of the season.

‘Macca’ was with Rovers for four years and made the last of his 114 league appearances for us at Fleetwood in January.

He also appeared in another 14 games for the club in cup ties/Play-Off games and scored the only goal of his Rovers career in a JPT tie at Ashton Gate in September 2013.

It was John Ward who signed McChrystal, from Tranmere Rovers, in January 2013 and current boss Darrell Clarke made him Rovers’ captain when he took over as manager in March 2014.

He went on to lead the club to promotion from The Conference and then out of League One at the end of last season.

Mark will be invited on to the pitch at half time and it will enable supporters to thank him for his time with us and to wish him well for the future.
