Rovers young central defender Alfie Kilgour has gone out on a month’s loan with Evostick Southern League side Cirencester Town.
Alfie goes straight into Cirencester’s squad for this afternoon’s fixture against Kings Langley and has been given permission to play in next Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie against Banbury United.
Central defender Alfie was included in the first team squad for the first time for the match against Accrington Stanley on 12th September 2015 when he was one of our unused substitutes.
He was allocated squad number 32 and given a first team contract in the summer of 2016, the only scholar to be upgraded to the pro ranks.
We wish him every success during his time with Cirencester.
