Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to bounce back from Saturday's loss to Wycombe Wanderers.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to secure a valuable three points against Hartlepool United.

Team News: Rovers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the visit of Hartlepool United.

Darrell's View:”We may have beaten them [Hartlepool United] already this season, but it counts for nothing when kick off rolls around.

"Hartlepool are a good side regardless of their league position, we are expecting them to come and attack us so it will be a tough game "   

Opposition: Tonight's opponents Hartlepool United currently sit in 22nd position in the Sky Bet League Two table with just 28 points from their 30 games this season. Pool have been struggling for form of late only picking up just the one win in the league in their last eight games. However last time out United did pick up an impressive 0-0 draw with free scoring Northampton Town on Saturday at Victoria Park.                  
Dangerman - Billy Paynter: Ronnie Moore agreed a deal with Carlisle United in the summer of 2015 to bring front man Billy Paynter to Victoria Park. With well over 400 senior appearances under his belt, the Liverpool-born striker brings a wealth of experience with him in to the Pools squad. Paynter tops the clubs goal scoring chats this season hitting the back of the net 10 times.         
 
Last Time Out: Rovers secured three vital points at Victoria Park with a dominant 0-3 back in September. Matty Taylor opened the scoring in the first half with a close range header before second half goals from Billy Bodin and Jermaine Easter wrapped up the scoring.
