Club News

23 January 2016

If you are going to the match this afternoon, we hope you will pick up a copy of our matchday magazine The Pirate.

Having undergone a revamp in the summer, the 72 pages are crammed full of articles and photos covering all aspects of the club.

Manager Darrell Clarke and Chairman Nick Higgs pen their own exclusive articles and in this edition we carry interviews with Tom Parkes and Chris Lines.

The four page Academy Section puts first year scholar Sam Iles in the spotlight and brings you news about the U-11 side who will be out on the pitch at half time today, as well as telling you a little bit more about some of the backroom staff.

Our seven page historical section is always a fascinating read and the centre spread is given over to those who have worn the number eight shirt since the year 2000.

We bring you news from the Supporters Club and Young Pirates, bring you an in depth look at this afternoon's visitors to The Mem, as well as an eclectic range of articles written by a number of people who have one thing in common; they are all Rovers supporters.

The Pirate costs just £3 and we hope you enjoy today's issue.
