MATCH PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE

23 January 2016

We take a quick look at today's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to build on last week's impressive win at Oxford United.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to stamp their authority by securing three points against the League leaders.

Team News: Injuries to James Clarke and Liam Lawrence could see them miss out and join Willy Puddy on the treatment table.

Darrell's View:”We got a very good result last week but it counts for nothing if we get beat today.

"It's going to be packed at the Mem and we need to give the massive crowd a performance they can get behind in what will be a difficult game."

Opposition: Today's opponents Plymouth Argyle sit at the top of Sky Bet League Two having gathered 55 points from their 27 games so far this season. The Pilgrims have been on an impressive run of late picking up 15 points from their last 18 on offer and last time out the league leaders came out on top of a five goal thriller thanks to goals from Carl McHugh, Gregg Wylde and Craig Tanner.

Dangerman - Jake Jervis: The former Hereford man joined the Pilgrims in the summer to be reunited with boss Derek Adams and currently tops the clubs goal scoring charts with 11 goals in all competitions. Jervis was also on the scoresheet when the two sides met at Home Park back in September.

Last Time Out: Ellis Harrison's late penalty snatched a point at Home Park after Jake Jervis put the Pilgrims ahead.

Tickets: Today's game is ALL TICKET for all supporters and no tickets will be available on the day.
