MATCH PREVIEW: OXFORD UNITED

17 January 2016

We take a quick look at today's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to bounce back from last weekend's loss to Barnet.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to return the favour to Oxford having lost to them at the Memorial Stadium earlier in the season.

Team News: Injuries to Will Puddy looks like the clubs only absentee.

Darrell's View:”This is a completely different game to last weeks because Oxford are a team that like to play the ball on the ground.

"They [Oxford] have had two positive results against Swansea and then Millwall so they are going to be on a high and it's going to be a tough game today."

Opposition: Today's opponents Oxford United currently sit in third place in the Sky Bet League Two table with 48 points from their 25 games so far this season. Oxford have been on a great run in both the League and Cup in recent weeks having picked up seven points from their last three league outings as well as two wins against Swansea and Millwall in cup competitions.

Dangerman - Kemar Roofe: Roofe has been red hot in recent games scoring five goals in his past three games including braces against Swansea City and Milwall. Roofe tops the U's goal scoring charts with 13 goals in all competitions and scored the winner at the Mem earlier on in the season.

Last Time Out: Kemar Roofe's screamer secured all three points for Oxford at the Mem back in September.

Tickets: Today's game is ALL TICKET for away supporters and no tickets will be available on the day.
