2 January 2016

We take a quick look at today's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to start 2016 off with a win.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to repeat the form shown in the clubs last three home games which saw the club pick up all 9 points.

Team News: Injuries to Will Puddy looks like the clubs only absentee.

Darrell's View:”We got a good three points last time out at the Mem but that's all forgotten now and we have to put in another top performance this afternoon to start 2016 right.

"2015 was a good year for the club and we want 2016 to be better and we need to give it to the supporters as it's what they deserve."

Opposition: Today's opponents Luton Town currently occupy 14th spot in the Sky Bet League Two table having collected 30 points from their 24 games so far this season. The Hatters have been in a poor run of form recently which saw them pick up three points on one occasion in their last seven league meetings (away at Exeter City).
Dangerman - Cameron McGeehan: The Hatters were finally able to lure McGeehan to Kenilworth Road on a permanent contract this summer having previously enjoyed two spells on-loan from Norwich City. The central midfielder also tops the clubs goal scoring chats for the season with nine goals in all competitions.
Last Time Out: Rovers secured a late 0-1 win at Kenilworth Road thanks to a 94th minute strike from Stuart Sinclair.

Tickets: Supporters will be able to purchase tickets on the gate for today's game.
