1 December 2016

England will play two one-day matches in Bristol in 2017 in what promises to be a thrilling summer of cricket for the city - a historic match against Ireland in May and then a huge clash against the West Indies in September. Two great days out for all the family!

Previous International matches at The Brightside Ground, Bristol, (home to Gloucestershire Cricket) have sold out, so supporters are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

The clash against Ireland on Friday 5 May will be England’s opening match of summer 2017. History will be made as this is the first time England will have played their Irish counterparts on home soil.

England will then return to Bristol to face the West Indies in a match that is set to light up the last throes of summer on Sunday 24 September. West Indies, the World T20 winners, will be keen to transfer their form to one day cricket when they arrive in Bristol. A match not to be missed!

With Christmas just around the corner, this could be the perfect gift.
