ROVERS PLAYERS VISIT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

16 December 2016

It’s been a busy week for members of the Rovers squad, who have been out and about in the Community every day.

On Monday it was to hand over food donations to The Salvation Army, while Tuesday evening saw them all attend the club’s Annual Carol Service at St James’ Church Lockleaze.

On Wednesday it was down to Horfield Leisure Centre to open the new 3G facilities while there were two visits on Thursday afternoon, one to Brightstowe School and the other to The Children’s Hospital.

Eight players made their way to Ward 34 of the hospital yesterday, which is where our photo was taken, and the players met some incredibly brave children, great parents and fantastic staff.

Some presents were handed out, some left under the tree, and some of the youngsters were well enough to get out of bed to have their photo taken with the players.
