Sadly flares and smoke grenades are being set off again at the Memorial Stadium.

They are extremely dangerous, can cause serious injury and are also annoying to other fans who are trying to watch the match.

The Club that we all love could well be fined or have points deducted which no one wants.

Rovers under new ownership are truly on the way up and the so called fans setting off smoke are not helping the Club.

Last match four fans were ejected from around the area that the smoke grenade was set off and a used one was recovered post match .

Please stop bringing in such devices for the good of the Club.

Those caught with flares or smoke grenades will receive a life ban and will be handed over to the Police and could end up being banned from Bristol on match days plus a national banning order and a fine.

If anyone wishes to pass on intelligence as to the identity of the offenders then please speak any steward in confidence or contact our Safety Officer David Parker directly.
