Bristol Rovers pair Darrell Clarke and Matty Taylor have been nominated for monthly awards by the Football League.
Darrell has been nominated for the SkyBet League Two Manager of the Month award after an almost perfect month. His side collected an impressive 18 points from the 21 available seeing Rovers move from 10th in the league into automatic promotion contention.
The Rovers boss has some tough competition in Craig Hignett [Hartlepool United], Paul Tisdale [Exeter City] and Darrell Way [Yeovil Town] with the winner being announced on Friday.
However, Darrell isn't the only Bristol Rovers man who has caught the eye of the Football League as Matty Taylor has received a nomination for SkyBet League Two Player of the Month.
This is Matty’s third nomination this season who was in irresistible form with eight goals in seven games during March. His movement and ability to score all types of goals was illustrated by his perfect hat-trick in the 4-1 victory over Hartlepool United.
Matty also faces some stiff competition with the likes of Jake Carroll [Hartlepool United], Kemar Roofe [Oxford United] and former Rovers man John-Joe O'Toole [Northampton Town] with the winner also being announced this Friday.
