The managers post-match thoughts!Bristol Rovers fought back from 2-0 down to snatch a last-gasp draw with Halifax at the Shay Stadium and Darrell Clarke is pleased with the character his players showed to earn the point.
"It is a massive credit to my players to keep going and get us a point out of the game because Halifax is a very difficult place to come.
"In the first half we switched off twice and it cost us. For their set piece we know who the man was who should of been marking him but he got over powered and their first goal we lost where the ball was in the box and a midfield runner heads it in.
"I don't think there is a lot between the two teams so to come in at half time 2-0 down was difficult but we kept going and had a fair few chances to get back in the game before Lee [Brown] gets us back in it.
"Ellis came off the bench again today and showed that bit of magic which has got us a point.
"I certainly didn't want to lose two games in a row and I really wanted to get something out of the game today and although this is a difficult place to come, at 2-0 down you would settle for a point.
"Halifax kept trying to hit us on the counter but fair play to my players for trying to play and attack on what was a very difficult surface.
"The key thing for me today is the spirit of the boys and how that is going to be for us over these last seven games in the hunt to win the title.
"We are in a strong position to go for the title, it isn't in our own hands at the minute but we have games coming up that I definitely think are winnable games and we will move on to them.
"I think today was one of our most difficult away games but if you look at our last three away games of Grimsby, Gateshead and Halifax and the fact that we have picked up seven points out of a possible nine is a great return.
