Just a reminder that our game against an Arsenal XI at the Memorial Stadium tomorrow kicks off at 3.00pm
Admission prices are as follows:
Adults: £15.00 £10.00
Concessions: £7.00 £5.00
We have produced a joint matchday programme for this game and the one against Reading on Tuesday consisting of 24 pages and costing £2.00.
We aren’t sure what team Arsenal will be putting out, but it is likely to be chosen from the following squad; Matt Macey, Ryan Huddart, Deyan Iliev, Hugo Keto, Tafari Moore, George Dobson, Julio Pleguezuelo, Chiori Johnson, Marc Bola, Stefan O’Connor, Ilias Chatzithodoris, Elliott Wright, Kristopher Da Garcia, Glen Kamara, Savvas Mourgos, Jon Toral, Tyrell Robinson, Daniel Crowley, Ben Sheaf, Harry Donovan, Renny Smith, Aaron Eyoma, Stephy Mavididi, Wellington Silva, Kaylen Hinds, Ashley Maitland-Niles.
There are four goalkeepers in that squad, but obviously everyone is hoping that Matt Macey will start the game, as it was arranged some two years ago following his transfer to The Gunners.
Matt appeared in the Football league last season, turning out in four games for League Two side Accrington Stanley.
As for Rovers, manager Darrell Clarke is hoping that Jermaine Easter will play some part in the game as he has been back in full training this week. The player himself is eagerly looking forward to getting some game time, though whether or not that happens tomorrow we can’t be certain.
We do know that Billy Bodin will play some part in the match, and it seems likely that one or two, if not all, of our promising youngsters may well get a run out at some point.
Darrell has said that he will be selecting his starting lineup from an 18 man squad for this eagerly awaited first game back at The Mem since we were promoted.
