LOAN DEALS EXTENDED FOR ROVERS PAIR

19 January 2015

Mitchell and Greenslade extend their deals

The loan deals involving defenders Pierce Mitchell and Danny Greenslade have been extended until the end of the season.

Mitchell, in his second loan spell of the season with Conference South side Weston-super-Mare, has made 15 appearances for the Seagulls this season and is a popular player with the club’s supporters.

Greenslade is now a team mate of former Rovers striker Barry Hayles at Truro City, where another former Rovers player, Wayne Carlisle, is the assistant manager.

He was in the side that beat Hitchin Town on Saturday, to move into a play-off place in the Evostik Southern League Premier Division.

Mitchell, meanwhile, was without a game as Weston’s game against Eastbourne Borough was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
