The Rovers boss previews this weekends game

Rovers travel to Gateshead for this weekends fixture looking to make it five wins in five games for the month of February but Darrell is expecting another difficult game.

"Gateshead will give us different problems compared to what we have faced in the last two games.

"I thought they were very good when we played the at the Mem back in December and they caused us a lot of problems with the quality of players that they have so it is going to take a massive effort to get something out of the game

"They [Gateshead] are still in a position where I think they can still make the playoffs and they certainly have an experienced manager that will be able to cope with that.

"They [Gateshead] have a bit of a fixture backlog because of having games called off but they were highly tipped at the start of the season having missed out last year.

Darrell believes preparation is key for such a long trip and will be taking extra measures to ensure his players are ready come 3pm on Saturday.

"We will be training early Friday morning at the stadium and then will be setting off after that to try and get up there as quickly as possible.

"We need to try and prepare the best way we can, it is the final game of a heavy work load this week following the two home games and then the long trip to Gateshead.

"Everyone is working hard to get out of this league and everyone in this squad is up for the fight and my message to the players is lets keep going as a group and lets keep focused.
