Make sure you have your say on next seasons away kit!Bristol Rovers are inviting their supporters to choose next season’s away strip from the three options shown above.
Voting opened on Friday and the initial response has been fantastic with over 2,500 votes already registered.
Max Alderson, a member of the Retail Panel, who were charged with suggesting designs for the kit, said; “The club entrusted us with creative control over next season's away kit, so our aim was to create a design that the fans wanted to see.
“Yellow was by far the most popular choice. Using suggestions on social media, we came up with the final three designs that we think are unique and dynamic. We hope that everyone likes them.”
The Retail Panel was set up at the beginning of the season by Commercial Director Barry Bradshaw in response to criticism, from some quarters, about how the club interacted with its supporters.
Barry said “We now have a nucleus of 12 members on the panel, who meet on a regular basis to discuss new ideas for our leisurewear range.
“From almost 20 designs for next season’s away kit they whittled it down to the three you see here.
“We have had many interesting discussions about the kit and it has been a pleasure working alongside a small group of people committed to taking new ideas on board and suggesting the 1883 logo, which has been incorporated into the design of the new shirts.”
The shirts will be manufactured by Errea whose UK Head of Operations, Tim Barnard, has worked closely with Barry and the Retail Panel and he said; “I think this is a unique venture by Bristol Rovers, as it’s unusual for supporters to be so closely involved in determining the kit their team will wear for the following season.
“It has been a pleasure working closely with Barry and the Retail Panel and Errea will, as always, ensure that the shirts are manufactured to the highest standard.”
