MATCH PREVIEW: AFC WIMBLEDON

26 December 2015

We take a quick look at today's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to build on their win away at Dagenham & Redbridge last time out.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to repeat the performance from their last away match and keep themselves in the play-off places.

Team News: Injuries to Will Puddy and Stuart Sinclair will be assessed on the day.

Darrell's View:”We got a very good result away from home last time out but we need to keep these results coming over the Christmas period.

"It's a busy time of year with lots of points up for grabs and we will need to be at the top of our games to pick up all the points available."

Opposition: Today's opponents AFC Wimbledon currently sit in 14th place in the Sky Bet League Two table with 29 points from their 22 games this season. However, the Dons haven't picked up three points in a single game in their last six outings. Last time out Lyle Taylor struck twice in the second half to rescue a point at Rodney Parade against Newport County.

Dangerman - Lyle Taylor: Taylor joined the Dons in the summer following his release from Scunthorpe United where he scored four goals in his 25 appearances. This season he tops Wimbledon's goal scoring charts with eight goals this term in all competitions including a brace in his last game against Newport County.

Last Time Out: Last time these two sides met they shared the points as they played out a 0-0 draw at Kingsmeadow back in April 2014.

Tickets: Supporters will be able to purchase tickets on the gate for today's game.
