We were delighted that so many supporters turned up at The Memorial Stadium yesterday for our game against Leyton Orient and appreciate the backing the team received from our biggest crowd of the season.
However we appreciate that a number of fans experienced a delay in gaining entry to the ground, for which we sincerely apologise, and we would ask you to help us to avoid similar problems on Saturday when we entertain Luton Town.
Whilst this is NOT an all ticket match, we do urge you to purchase a ticket in advance. By doing so, you can make a saving of £2.00 on the normal matchday prices, by purchasing in person up until 2.30pm on Thursday 31st December or online until midnight on 1st January.
Supporters with tickets gain quicker access through the turnstiles than those paying by cash so it is to everyone’s advantage to make an advance purchase.
We appreciate that not everyone is able to take advantage of an early purchase, but would ask supporters to endeavour to arrive in good time for the match, which kicks off at 3.00pm.
One of the reasons why a number of supporters were delayed at the turnstiles yesterday was due to the fact that a great many arrived at The Memorial Stadium in the ten minutes leading up to kick off.
Please help us to help you avoid any problems this coming Saturday, either by purchasing your ticket in advance or arriving at the ground earlier.
Tickets can be purchased in store at Pirate Leisure or online by clicking here.
