Marcus talks to the press ahead of the first Play-Off fixtureAfter missing out on automatic promotion on Saturday Bristol Rovers have picked themselves back up and ready and raring to go says Marcus Stewart.
"The mood in camp is excellent, I would say that after last weeks game against Dover, the mood was worse and the lads took it hard.
"For us it was a feeling that we lost it that day, not on Saturday against Alfreton.
"We put in a great performance against Alfreton, but knew we had to rely on Gateshead to do us a favour but that wasn't to be but going into the play-offs on the back of a 7-0 has put them in good spirits again.
First up in Rovers bid for promotion is the away tie at Forest Green Rovers and Bristol Rovers Assistant Manager tells us that these are viewed as cup games from here on in.
"These play of games can be like a cup competition now, you need a bit of luck, you need to do your homework and sometimes you need things to go for you but we've got a good bunch of players here that have had 40+ cup finals and have played in intimidating atmospheres all season so tonight won't be any different.
"Play-offs are tough because you don't want to be a team that goes out in the semi-final but you definitely don't want to lose at Wembley, but if you do go the distance and win the final then it is a very good way to go up.
Rovers have hit the back of the net 18 times in the month of April and Marcus says that the whole team is coming good just at the right time.
"We are scoring plenty of goals at the moment and it's great that we are creating chances and we are looking threatening as a whole unit.
"The forwards have been doing things other than scoring goals for us such as defending from the front and not allowing players time on the ball.
"It allows us to defend as a whole team, all of which starts from the front because if we keep doing that we know the chances will come and our forwards are in great form.
