Take part in a quirky challenge for charity
Are you fit and fast enough to race up and down 415 steps at The Memorial Stadium? We want you all to get into training and take part in one of the city’s more quirky challenges!
Once again St Peter’s Hospice is holding the ‘Stadium Dash’ event which is taking place on Saturday 7th June 2014.
The challenge offers a chance to either race against the clock individually, or as a team of four with prizes for those who finish first, second and third fastest.
Do you think you can beat last year’s record of 2 minutes and 44 seconds? It’s only £10 to register and St Peter's are asking each participant to raise as much as they can through sponsorship.
It is totally devastating when someone is told they have an incurable illness. St Peter’s Hospice nurses are there for those people, caring and supporting them and ensuring they get the best possible quality of life during those last months and weeks.
St Peter's also understand that family members are going through a very difficult time and they are there to support them too. But it all costs and with the NHS contributing just 23% of their annual running costs, they need events like Stadium Dash to help them raise much needed funds.
So why not get a few friends together to take on the challenge of Stadium Dash – your support is vital.
