Defender takes home top award
Michael Smith has been named the Supporters Club Player of the Year.
The defender picked up the award pitch-side before today’s game. This is the second year running he has picked up the top award.
Consistent Smith, 25, signed from Ballymena in the summer of 2011, playing professional football for the first time at Bristol Rovers.
He has continued to improve and develop during his time at Rovers, and he is a highly valued member of the team.
Tom Lockyer was named Young Player of the Year. The versatile youngster has broken into the first team this season and cemented his place as a first team regular.
Kieran Preston picked up the Alan Lacock Youth Team Player of the Year trophy.
And goal of the year went to Kaid Mohamed for his late goal against Morecambe at the Memorial Stadium.
