Winger on why he decided to join Rovers
Winger Jake Gosling today became the latest player to put pen to paper and sign for Bristol Rovers.
The former Exeter player was keen to join Rovers after speaking to manager Darrell Clarke about the club.
He said: “I was really pleased that Darrell gave me a ring, we have been speaking throughout the summer, and I am really glad to have signed.
“Bristol Rovers is a massive club, and Darrell said a few things to me that got me excited, and I am really looking forward to working with him and the team.”
When asked what we can expect from him as a player, he said: “I like to get on the ball and make things happen, you can expect creativity from me.
“I will chip in with a few goals, and hopefully set up a few as well.
“Getting Bristol Rovers back where they belong, in the Football League, is my main goal.
“I have had my summer and I am looking forward to getting amongst it now.”
