Manager makes two changes for League Two game at Bootham Crescent

York City
Bristol Rovers

Manager John Ward makes two changes to his starting lineup for this afternoon’s League Two fixture against York City this afternoon.

Tom Lockyer and Mitch Harding come into the side at the expense of Ollie Norburn and Ellis Harrison, who drop to the bench.

This will be the fourth meeting between the sides this season, with Rovers holding the upper hand with two wins and a draw.

However those three games have yielded a total of 16 goals.

The manager’s plans for training at Sheffield Wednesday yesterday were thwarted by the closure of two junctions of the M1 and, having left Bristol at 10.00am the squad finally arrived at their hotel in York at
5.10pm, having stopped for only three quarters of an hour on the trip.

The manager, therefore, quickly arranged a brief warm up session on York racecourse this morning.

Substitutes: Chris Smith, Ryan Jarvis, John McCombe, Tom Platt, Michael Ingham, Chris Dickinson, Adam Reed
