Richards and Lockyer start FA Cup replay

Crawley Town
Bristol Rovers

Manager John Ward makes two changes to his starting lineup for tonight’s second round FA Cup replay against Crawley Town this evening.

Alefe Santos and Ollie Norburn, who started the game at Rochdale, are left out tonight and their places are taken by Eliot Richards and Tom Lockyer.

Santos is ill and although he has travelled, he is not included in the squad at all. Norburn takes a place on the bench.

There is also good news in that Danny Woodards is in the squad for the first time this season and he is also on the bench.

It’s three weeks since the first attempt to play this game was halted by torrential rain, causing the game to be abandoned after 74 minutes.

Since then Rovers have played three league games, beating Portsmouth, drawing with Torquay and losing to Rochdale.

There has to be a result tonight, with the game going to extra time if the scores are level after 90 minutes and penalties if the teams can’t be separated after an additional half an hour.

The winners of this evening’s game will face Birmingham City at St Andrews next week.
