Norburn in for Lockyer at St Andrews

Birmingham City
Bristol Rovers

Rovers take on Championship side Birmingham City in their delayed third round FA Cup tie at St Andrews tonight.

It’s the first ever FA Cup tie between the clubs and manager John Ward has named a side that includes one change from the one that started last Saturday’s game against Exeter City.

Ollie Norburn replaces Tom Lockyer in midfield and the youngster drops to the bench.

The last time Rovers played Birmingham in a competitive match was on 11th September 2011, in a League Cup tie at the Memorial Stadium.

Birmingham won that match 3-0 but it was the day of the terrorist atrocities in New York and Washington and few people paid any attention to a football match being played in Bristol.
