Ward sticks with winning lineup

Scunthorpe United

Bristol Rovers

Manager John Ward is in the rare position of naming an unchanged side for tonight’s game against Scunthorpe United.

Rovers make their first visit to Glanford Park for five years this evening.

The last time they were here, on 14th February 2009, they ran out winners by two goals to nil.

Tonight sees the 34th league meeting between the sides, with Rovers having won 15, Scunthorpe seven, while there has been 11 draws.

The home side are looking to extend their unbeaten run to 17 and move to the top of  the table with a win this evening, but they come up against a Rovers side full of confidence after taking seven points from their last three games.

Referee Mark Haywood takes charge of a Rovers game for the third time this season. He was in charge of our opening game down at Exeter this season and also in charge when Northampton Town visited the Memorial Stadium at the end of August.
