Nick on current form and games coming up

It was really disappointing to have our game against Bury called off last weekend. After two good results and performances against Oxford and Cheltenham, we were hoping to finally take that form into an away game, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be.

Although it was frustrating, we were pleased that the game was called off early, as most of our loyal supporters had not yet set off for the game.

Hopefully we have seen the worst of the bad weather now, and we can start to return things to normal. Our new players have settled in well, but it will be good to see what they can really do on a nice surface.

I would like to thank everyone who came along to my Q&A session at the Oxford game. There were a good range of questions put to me, and I believe I answered them all to the best of my ability.

It is important to me to be in a position to be able to talk to the fans, and I hope to make these Q&A sessions a regular occurrence.

It is now less than a month until the Judicial Review takes place, and you have just a few weeks to sign the BristolsNotTrash petition. We will be looking to take a small number of Rovers fans with us to the JR hearing, and I will reveal more details over the next few weeks.

With home games coming thick and fast in March, we are running another Quid a Kid offer for our game against Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday, March 11th.

It is vitally important to us to try and attract the fans of the future, and we hope that lots of you can bring your kids along to this game. We are aware that very young children cannot always make night matches, so we will be looking into doing an offer for the youngsters on a Saturday in the near future.

Tomorrow we take on Burton Albion under the lights, and I am hoping you will all help us create an atmosphere similar to the one we saw here against Barnet on a Friday night last season.

I am a big fan of Friday night games, as you tend to get that fantastic atmosphere, and it also allows those who usually play football on a Saturday to come along and lend their support. Please get behind the lads tomorrow as we aim to continue our great home form and pick up another valuable three points.
