A look at the home of this weekend's opponents

The JD Stadium (better known as Gigg Lane)

Telephone: 0871 221 1885

Capacity: 11,640 (all seated)
Away Capacity: 2,000
Average 202/13 Attendance: 2,749

Tickets: Tickets for Bristol Rovers' trip to Bury will be available to buy on the day. Away fans are housed in the West Stand, and tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for 65+/students/U23s, £5 for U11s and free for U5s. Bury also offer family tickets; one adult and one child costs £15 and one adult and two children cost £20.

How To Get There: Leave the M66 at Junction 3. Take the left hand exit at the junction and follow this road until you come to the junction with the A56 Manchester Road. At this T-junction which has traffic lights, turn right towards Bury. At the end of the playing fields just before the traffic lights and a couple of pubs, turn right into Gigg Lane for the ground. However please note that Gigg Lane is normally closed on match days and the ground itself is not easily seen from the A56.

Distance: 179 miles
Duration: 2 hours 55 minutes

Away Facilities: Away fans are housed in the Manchester Road End and normally fans enjoy a good view of the action. However, there is a row of supporting pillars about a third of the way up the stand, which could cause problems if we take a large following.

Last visit: Rovers' last visit to Gigg Lane was in November 2006. Goals from Lewis Haldane and Richard Walker gave Rovers all three points.
