Rovers are pleased to announce that Lyle Dell-Verde’s loan deal has been extended until 4th January which will enable him to play in the game against Nuneaton.

The Fulham youngster has impressed in the short time he has been with the club and after making his debut in the FA Cup tie at Tranmere has appeared in each of the subsequent five league games.

Speaking about the loan extension, manager Darrell Clarke said; “Lyle has shown an excellent attitude whilst he has been with us and I would like to thank Fulham for allowing him to remain here until January”

Lyle, who is in the squad travelling up to Wrexham for tonight’s game, said; “I am delighted to have the opportunity of remaining with Rovers until next month.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club so far; everyone has made me feel very welcome and it’s good to be playing league football on a regular basis.

“There are a lot of games to be played between now and the time the loan deal ends and I look forward to helping Rovers maintain their position near the top of the league.”

Chairman Nick Higgs said; “Lyle has already made a significant contribution to the side since his arrival almost four weeks ago and is a very exciting player so it is very pleasing to know that we have been able to extend his loan.
