Grab the latest issue of The Pirate

If you’re going to the match tomorrow, then why not pick up a copy of our matchday programme, The Pirate.

Priced at £3 our matchday magazine is packed with many features you won’t have seen on our website.

Manager Darrell Clarke pens his own notes, and this week we begin profiling the scholars in our Academy, starting with goalkeeper Kieran Preston, who will be in the Scotland U-19 squad to face the Czech Republic next week.

Ollie Clarke and Neal Trotman are this week’s interviewees while there is a profile of Lee Mansell on the centre spread.

There’s news from the Supporters Club, Young Pirates, and Helpline, while the Fanzone pages give all of you an opportunity to participate, so if you have a birthday or anniversary you would like us to mention in the next issue, then please get in touch.

Are you related to a Rovers player from the Victorian era? If so, check out Stephen Byrne’s Victorian Rovers article and get in touch if you have any photos of players from over a century ago.

This week we devote a page to photos of some of the supporters who got behind the team last Saturday and on Monday at the New Lawn – see if you can spot yourself!

There’s an eclectic mix of articles from a range of contributors, all of them Rovers supporters, so if you haven’t previously purchased a matchday programme when you’ve come to a game, try it tomorrow – you might be pleasantly surprised!
