ROVERS BEAT CITY IN CIDER COMPETITION

9 April 2014

The Pirates create the winning cider

Bristol Rovers beat Bristol City in a cider making competition yesterday.

Fans and players from Rovers, City and Bristol Rugby were invited to The Shepton Mallet Cider Mill, the home of Blackthorn, to craft their own cider.

And Bristol Rovers came out on top, creating the winning cider, as chosen by a local master cider maker.

A keg of the dry cider will now be available at the Memorial Stadium on the final day of the season for you all to try.
