The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is Bristol-bound for one of the pick of the ties of the 2013-14 first round.

Bristol Rovers head to rivals Bristol Rovers on Wednesday in the first competitive meeting between the sides since 2007 for a tie which will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Supporters of both clubs are counting down the days and hours until kick-off and will be given an extra chance to enjoy an enhanced Johnstone’s Paint Trophy experience with an exciting build-up planned.

The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy team will be in two destinations in the build-up to kick-off on Wednesday, offering supporters the chance to have their picture taken with the coveted Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

The trophy will be at Kellaway Building Supplies, Kellaway Avenue, Horfield, BS6 7YL, from 12 noon until 2pm.

It will then be whisked to the Johnstone’s Decorating Centre on Albert Road in St Philips, BS2 OXA from 3pm until 5pm.

As well as the picture opportunities, supporters can benefit from Johnstone’s Paint Trophy merchandise and mini-balls giveaway, while a special discount will also be in operation offering 2.5 litres of Johnstone’s Aqua Water Based Gloss or Undercoat for only £18 including VAT.

“The Bristol derby has a fantastic tradition and it’s a game that supporters of both clubs will be eagerly looking forward to,” said Ben Wilde, Brand and Sponsorship Manager of Johnstone’s Paint.

“We are delighted to be joining in with all the excitement and giving supporters the unique opportunity to have their picture taken with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

“It’s going to be a day and night to relish for both clubs and their supporters.”
