THREE FA CUP CHANGES

19 November 2013

Clarkson, Lockyer and Norburn all start at York

Manager John Ward makes three changes for tonight’s FA Cup first round replay against York City at Bootham Crescent.

Will Packwood misses out as his parent club, Birmingham City, don’t want him cup tied so Tom Lockyer comes back into the starting lineup in his favoured central defensive position.

Alefe Santos also misses out after picking up a hamstring injury on Saturday and his place is taken by Ollie Norburn while David Clarkson comes into the side in place of Matt Harrold.

The two clubs have met twice already this season, with Rovers winning the league match at the Mem 3-2 and then there was the 3-3 draw in this competition, also at the Mem, ten days ago.

There must be a winner tonight and if scores are level after 90 minutes then the tie goes into extra time and, possibly, a penalty shootout.
