Bring back your completed forms.
Supporters who took copies of the Bristol Is Not Trash petition from last weekend's game are being reminded to return them this weekend.
If you have not yet done so, make sure you get your friends and family to sign the forms, before bringing them back to the Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The petition was set up by MP Charlotte Leslie in response to the TRASH group who have lodged a Judicial Review which questions the validity of the planning permission granted to J Sainsbury’s on the current Memorial Stadium site.
The online version of the petition states: "We, the under-signed, are dismayed at the 'TRASH' group's actions in delaying and obstructing the building of a supermarket at the former Bristol Rovers site, which crucially prevents Bristol Rovers, and moreover the whole city, from having a new stadium.
"We express concern that the group have set up a company limited by guarantee, with the intent of going bankrupt, in order to avoid legal fees; express deep concern that the public purse will be paying much of this cost; state that the TRASH group is not representative of us, and call on the TRASH group to cease the obstruction of achieving the stadium the city so badly needs."
Completed petitions can be returned to Pirate Leisure at the Memorial Stadium. There will also be boxes in the bars ahead of Saturday's game against Bury.
