Meeting to be shown live at the Mem

Rovers fans are being encouraged to come up to the Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night to watch the planning meeting that will decided whether or not Sainsbury's will be allowed to build on the current stadium site.

The committee meeting takes place at City Hall from 6pm and will be shown via a live webcast.

Fans are being encouraged not to go down to City Hall, as spaces are limited, but to instead come to the Memorial Room bar and watch the result come in with fellow Gasheads.

The club will be running a Happy Hour offer from 5.30pm, and there will also be hot food available.

The Sainsbury's store is the enabling development that will allow Rovers to build the new UWE Stadium.

Chairman Nick Higgs will be speaking at the meeting, but has promised that should Sainsbury's be successful, he will come up to the Memorial Stadium to celebrate with fans and answer any questions.
