Rovers cover playing surface ahead of the cold spell

Pitch covers are currently being laid at the Memorial Stadium to protect the playing surface from the predicted cold snap.

With temperatures set to plummet over the next few days, the club is doing everything it can to make sure that Saturday’s game against Exeter does not suffer.

The covers, which can protect the pitch against temperatures as low as -4, will stay in place until the weekend.

Our Futsal Scholars were on hand to help the ground staff lay out the covers this morning.
