Norbburn in for Clucas at Sixfields

Northampton Town

Bristol Rovers

Manager John  Ward makes just one change to his starting lineup at Northampton tonight.

The unfortunate Seanan Clucas, ruled out for nine months with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, is replaced by Ollie Norburn.

The manager, in his pre match interview, was at pains to let everyone know that the club will look after Seanan and ensure he receives the best possible care during his period of rehabilitation.

Ryan Brunt, who did train yesterday, was deemed not fit enough for tonight’s game, which sees Adam Virgo and Mitch Harding return to the squad; both are on the bench at Sixfields.

Rovers: Steve Mildenhall, Michael Smith, Tom Parkes, Mark McChrystal, Lee Brown, Danny Woodards, John-Joe O’Toole, Ollie Norburn, Joe Anyinsah, Tom Hitchcock, Eliot Richards

Substitutes: Jim Paterson, Ellis Harrison, Mitch Harding, Adam Virgo, Conor Gough, Jordan Goddard, Tom Lockyer

Northampton Town: Lee Nicholls, Ben Tozer, Clark Carlisle, Kelvin Langmead, Lee Collins, Jake Robinson, Lewis Hornby, Ben Harding, Roy O’Donovan, Adebayo Akinfenwa, Clive Platt
