Boss up for top award.

John Ward has been nominated for the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month award for November.

The Rovers manager has been short-listed by the panel for the way he has "coped admirably with a horrendous injury list. Inspired his side to eight points in a month which featured a fine 1-0 win at leaders Oxford United and defensive stability which saw just two goals conceded in five league games."

John will be up against Southend United manager Phil Brown, Burton manager Gary Rowett and Accrington Stanley manager James Beattie.

The winner will be announced on Friday, December 6th.

The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley; Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins
