Plymouth 1-1 Rovers

Rovers shared the points with Plymouth at Home Park tonight.

The Gas battled back from a goal down to draw the game 1-1 thanks to a second half goal from Tom Parkes.

Rovers started brightly and took the game to Plymouth in the opening twenty minutes, but it was the home side who took the lead on 35 minutes.

Conor Hourihane scored with a left footed shot from 20 yards out.

Mark McGhee made a number of attacking changes in the second half which ultimately helped get Rovers back into the game.

Eliot Richards, Michael Smith and Joe Anyinsah came on for Matt Lund, Adam Virgo and Wayne Brown, and Anyinsah was involved in the lead up to Parkes' fantastic goal on 70 minutes.

The striker played the ball in to Clarkson who found Parkes inside the box. The central defender hit the ball with the outside of the boot across goal into the bottom corner.

The full report will appear first thing tomorrow due to technical problems at Home Park.
