Bournemouth 4-1 Rovers

Bristol Rovers went down 4-1  to a strong AFC Bournemouth side in a development game this afternoon.

The Cherries took the lead just before half time when striker Frank Demouge back heeled the ball into the net.

After the break Conor Gough saved a penalty from Brett Pitman, and Wes Fogden saw his effort from the rebound go wide.

With less than 20 minutes on the clock trialist Harry Cornick made it 2-0 for the home side. And less than 10 minutes later fellow trialist Jordan Chiedozie made it 3-0 to the Cherries.

Rovers mounted a late period of pressure, which saw Eliot Richards pull one back for the visitors with an impressive strike, but Bournemouth went to to score with the last kick of the game thanks to Lorenzo Davids.
