Rovers further community relations

Bristol Rovers have been developing their relationship in the local community by offering free tickets to all schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

The club's education department sent out a letter last week, offering each school 50 tickets for both children and adults to be used at a game of their choice.

Already a number of local schools have come forward to claim their allocation, including; the John Cabot Academy, Bristol Brunel Academy, St Bedes Catholic College, Fairfield High School, Chipping Sodbury School and The Ridings Federation.

Study centre manager Adam Tutton said: "As a football club at the heart of Community Sport and Education in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, Bristol Rovers would like to offer pupils, staff and parents the opportunity to experience live sport for free.

"We understand the important social contribution that watching local live sport can have on individuals, families and communities but also realise that financial barriers often make this impossible."

If you think your local school has not been contacted, but would like to take part in the offer please contact Adam call 0117 330 4737 or email
