Looking ahead...
The Gas return to the Mem this weekend, following a late collapse against Ipswich Town last time out at BS7. Ben Garner's squad will be looking to respond well to their defeat on the road to Doncaster last Saturday.
Garner spoke of the faith he has in his side ahead of this weekend, as he looks to bounce back from last weekend's result.

View from the Opposition...
Keith Curle's Northampton side achieved promotion during the curtailed 2019/20 League Two campaign through the play-offs and have adjusted reasonably to life in League One.
Curle has been in charge of the Cobblers since October 2018, but began his coaching journey with the Gas.
This weekend will also see the return of former Rovers player, Chris Lines, for the first time since he left in 2019.
On Bristol Rovers, Curle spoke to ntfc.co.uk, saying, “They have established themselves at this level and it will be another good challenge for us."
Form Guide...
The Cobblers arrive at the Mem with a mixed bag of results, drawing, winning, and losing inside their opening three ties. They began with an opening day 2-2 draw with Wimbledon before beating Shrewsbury Town at home. However, in their most recent tie, they lost 2-0 to Hull City.
Past Meetings...
Fans of Rovers will remember their ties against Northampton Town in 2017 with some fondness, winning 11-0 on aggregate across the two games in 2017. The first game came down at the Mem, in which the Gas strolled to a convincing 5-0 victory. In the game, Billy Bodin scored once before Ellis Harrison found the net FOUR times.
