Emirates FA Cup Match Preview: Bristol Rovers v Plymouth Argyle

The low-down on Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie at the Mem against Plymouth Argyle.

A place in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round is up for grabs on Sunday, as Rovers play host to Plymouth Argyle at the Mem.

Sunday's game will be the third time the sides have gone head-to-head already this season after the Gas made a pre-season trip to Home Park and another journey down south in the Leasing.com Trophy group stages.

Coach's Preview: Kevin Maher previewed this weekend's fixture as well as reflecting on the Gas' outing against Shrewsbury Town last weekend.

Players' Preview: After a superb finish from distance against Shrewsbury Town, Liam Sercombe was on press duty this week and spoke about his past encounters with Plymouth, given his strong Exeter connections. 

Opposition: Plymouth are on a three-game winning streak, having beaten Bolton, Forest Green Rovers and Bradford in recent weeks. On Saturday, former Rovers winder Byron Moore was on the scoresheet, as Ryan Lowe's men picked up three points to see them climb to 8th in the Sky Bet League Two standing.  

In the first round, the Pilgrims beat Bolton on the road 1-0, thanks to a Callum McFadezean goal. In recent form, Argyle have bounced back tremendously from their humbling 4-0 defeat to local rivals Exeter, beating Forest Green 1-0 away from home, and Bradford City at Home Park, with former Rovers player Byron Moore scoring in the home win.

Emirates FA Cup Ticket Information: Plymouth Argyle ALL TICKET

Tickets for our Emirates FA Cup tie at the Mem against Plymouth are now available.

On Sunday, 1st December, Rovers will take on Plymouth Argyle in the 2nd round of the FA Cup.

The Club is also delighted to announce a 'Kids for a Quid' offer on this game, with under 16's able to buy tickets for any open stand for just £1.

There will be NO ON THE DAY TICKET SALES for this fixture, so you will need to secure tickets early.

Tickets will be on sale until midnight on Saturday, 30th November.

North Terrace and East Terrace

Under 16's £1
