Season ticket sales for the 2009/10 season are up 50% on this time last year.

Sales have flown past the one thousand mark, with more than 1,100 Gasheads claiming a ticket for the coming campaign.

The club sent out a new style season ticket reminder in the post, which has proved very popular with supporters.

 Shop manager Steve Burns said: "The football club is very pleased with the response from supporters to the new style season ticket reminder, even though a handful have been sent out in error.

"This is the first stage of improving the information that is given to supporters, as we are keen to start giving more regular information and updates via email.

"It is also our intention to make purchasing season tickets and match tickets online easier for our supporters."

Rovers have not increased prices for next season, and those who purchase a ticket before May 30th will receive a further 5% discount.

Then fans will still have until June 27th to take advantage of further discounts before tickets will be sold at full price.

Current stand season ticket holders have until June 27th to renew their tickets before they are put back on general sale.

Ambulant disabled, wheelchair users and carers should contact the club directly, either in person or over the phone to purchase season tickets at special rates.
