Bristol Rovers are freezing ticket prices for the 2009/10 season.

Rovers will not be increasing prices for next season, and those who purchase a ticket before May 30th will receive a further 5% discount.

Tickets go on sale next Wednesday(April 29), and supporters will then have one month to take advantage of the special Early Bird offer.

The 5% offer will then end, but fans will still have until June 27th to take advantage of further discounts before tickets will be sold at full price.

This discounted offer means that tickets are available from just £95 for children and £214 for adults. That works out that a child who stands in the Blackthorn End can watch over half a season for free compared to pay-on-the-day admission. Even with a full price season ticket after June 29th, you would still save £90 on match day admission.

The decision to freeze prices for the coming campaign was taken to try and help fans during the difficult economic climate.

Bristol Rovers Chairman Nick Higgs said: "We recognise that the country is currently going through a very difficult time financially, and appreciate that fans are finding it increasingly hard to find money to spend on leisure activities.

"We therefore decided that we would freeze the current price of our season tickets to try and help fans out. We have some very loyal season ticket holders and I cannot thank them enough for all their support over the last nine months.

"We hope that the initial further 5% Early Bird offer will encourage fans to sign up for what we hope is another exciting year of football.

"We have made great progress this season, and manager Paul Trollope has already signalled his intentions for next season. The introduction of a few new faces could make for a very interesting time here at the Memorial Stadium."

Fans will still be able to purchase family season tickets in three different parts of the ground.

As part of our commitment to the fans of the future, the free season ticket for children under 10 has now been changed to include all children under 11. Under 11s will be able to claim a free season ticket when purchased alongside one full paying adult in any area of the ground.

Individual match day tickets will also remain the same with an adult ticket for the Blackthorn End costing £17 on the day and £15 with the Early Bird discount.

Remember, you can spread the cost of your season ticket by taking advantage of one of our finance packages. More details will be available shortly.
