The trip down to Yeovil heralded another fantastic away performance which saw us record our first ever win away at Huish Park.
It has not always been a nice place for Gasheads to visit in recent years, with bad score lines being coupled with terrible weather conditions, but this time around I don't think many people even noticed the rain!
Everything seemed to click for us on Saturday, as we recorded another clean sheet and found ourselves three goals up before half time.
Jo Kuffour capitalised on a mistake early in the game to put us ahead and boost confidence levels, and he was joined on the score sheet by Paul Heffernan who doubled the lead before Jo rounded things off with a great strike before half time.
With just nine games to go, things are starting to get interesting, and that win has closed the gap slightly and helped keep us within catching distance of the play off places.
Lets hope we can add another three points on Saturday and keep the teams in the top six looking over their shoulders!
We held our AGM on Monday night, and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along. There was a lively debate following the official part of the meeting which covered everything from the stadium redevelopment to our form this season.
Plenty of questions were answered by the panel, which included myself, members of the board, Toni Watola, Paul Trollope and Lennie Lawrence.
I was able to tell share holders, that things were progressing forward with the stadium. Although it has been slow going, we have made some good progress since Christmas, and with the markets easing, I am confident that we will get our new stadium.
Congratulations must go to all the catering and bar staff here at the Memorial Stadium for passing a recent inspection with flying colours.
The team from Bristol City Council's Environmental Health department visited the stadium to carry out a vigorous inspection of the facilities and awarded us with the full five stars.
Finally I would like to take this opportunity to wish Bristol Rugby Club every success in gaining promotion back to the Guinness Premiership.
I was pleased to see that they got their play off campaign off to a winning start, and we hope that they can continue that all the way to the final. It will be great to have Premiership rugby back in Bristol.
