A lifelong Rovers supporter, Mike was one of five Filton College scholars awarded a professional contract in the summer of 2006.
He has been a regular member of our reserve team in the last two seasons, when he has produced some very good performances and made some crucial saves. He has a tremendous attitude and works hard to improve his game.
He spent a month on loan at Mangotsfield United in 2006/07 before returning to the club to understudy first team goalkeeper Steve Phillips.
He will continue to work with Steve and goalkeeping coach Steve Book this season and will also be looking to build on the progress he has made during his two year as a professional.
Mike was on the bench for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at the Millennium Stadium and the play off final at Wembley in 2006/07.
Mike is currently on a season long loan to Gloucester City.
