A lifelong Rovers supporter, Mike was one of five Filton College scholars awarded a professional contract in the summer of 2006.
He was a regular member of our reserve team for three seasons, when he produced some very good performances and made some crucial saves.
Mike was on the bench for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at the Millennium Stadium and the play off final at Wembley in 2006/07.
He spent a month on loan at Mangotsfield United in 2006/07 before returning to the club to understudy the then first team goalkeeper Steve Phillips.
There was another loan spell, with Mangotsfield United, in 2008/09, and he spent the whole of last season on loan with Gloucester City, but still came in to train with goalkeeping coach Steve Book and senior goalkeepers Mikkel Andersen and Rhys Evans.
He has a tremendous attitude and works hard to improve his game and that hard work was rewarded with another one year contract in the summer of 2010.
