Former Stockport midfielder midfielder Dominic became Rovers' second summer signing in 2009, when he put pen to paper on a three year deal.
Born in High Wycombe, he was a trainee with Watford and signed his first pro contract for them in April 2002.
He went on to score twice in 29 league outings whilst at Vicarage Road, and enjoyed loan spells at Stockport County and MK Dons during his five years at the club.
He returned to Stockport, on a permanent basis, in August 2007 and helped County into the play offs during his first season at Edgeley Park, though a hamstring injury kept him out of the Wembley play off final when County defeated Rochdale to gain promotion to League One.
His league record for County is four goals in 58 league appearances.
An intelligent player who can play anywhere across the midfield, he prefers a central role and likes to get forward, though is equally at home playing just in front of the back line.
He turned down the opportunity to play for a number of Championship clubs and others in League One in order to move to the Memorial Stadium, but having missed pre season through illness, it took him a while to return to reach his peak fitness levels.
Consequently it took a while for him to establish a regular place in the side and often he played out of position, in a right sided midfield role.
Nevertheless, he showed that he can adapt to playing in another position and will be looking to be in the side from the start of the current campaign.
Dominic made his Rovers debut when going on as a second half substitute, against Leyton Orient, on the opening day of last season. He scored his firs goal for the club in the 3-2 win against Colchester United on 27th February 2009.
