Craig moved to the Memorial Stadium, from Kidderminster Harriers, in the summer of 2004 and has since made over 100 league appearances for Rovers.
In his first season with the club the central defender, who has the ability to play anywhere along the back line, played the majority of his 38 league games at right back.
The following season saw him play alongside Steve Elliott, as a central defender, and the two of them forged an effective partnership in the back four. His final tally of 36 games would have been more had it not been for the fact that he sustained an eye injury at Cheltenham in January, which caused him to miss a number of games.
In 2006/07 he made another 30 appearances and was a member of the side beaten by Doncaster Rovers in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, though a groin injury sustained at Barnet, in April, saw him miss the remainder of the season and the play off final at Wembley.
Craig made another 24 league appearances last season, and scored his first goals for the club. He actually ended the season with five to his name, scoring in the First, Second and Third Round of the FA Cup, as well as registering league goals against Carlisle and Cheltenham Town.
A trainee at Birmingham, he spent two years as a pro with the Blues, but was unable to make the breakthrough into the first team and signed for Kidderminster in September 1998.
Harriers were a Southern League side at the time and when he first moved to Aggborough, manager Graham Allner played him at right back. However, when Jan Molby took over as boss, he converted him to a central defender'
Craig missed just one game in 1999/2000 when the Harriers clinched the Conference Title, and was an ever present in their first season of league football.
In fact, he was a very consistent performer for the Harriers and missed very few games during his six years with them, making a total of 214 appearances.
The winner of the Supporters Club Player of the Year Award on two occasions whilst with the Harriers Craig is a solid, no nonsense defender, who can always be relied on to give 100%.
