Rovers players spent several days last week at Britannia Building Society branches around Bristol encouraging Gasheads to sign up to special savings accounts.

The accounts, for adult fans as well as younger supporters, help earn the club almost £40,000 a year, as well as offering fantastic rates of interest for savers.

Last week's visits to Westbury, Kingswood and Broadmead, Richard Walker, Sean Rigg, Chris Lines, Chris Carruthers, Joe Jacobson and David Pipe saw 30 new accounts opened immediately, with another 19 to follow subject to formalities.
